Disclaimer: I received free tickets to spend the day at Legoland Florida. All opinions are 100% mine based on my experience.
Have you heard the news Legoland has a new ride?
This new ride is so much fun and has a fun pirate them. I was so excited to get an early preview of the ride However the best news is it is now open to everyone. Located in Pirates Cove at Legoland this ride is fun for the whole family. I am so excited to share with you some of the fun features of Pirate River Quest.
Let’s Go To Legoland Florida
The Story
This hilarious story unfolds brick by brick with a rowdy crew of LEGO® pirates, as adventurers encounter exciting sequences and exotic creatures on this captain-driven boat ride. From a sunken pirate ship to a fearsome Kraken set amongst the lush Florida landscape, this tale captivates pirates and landlubbers of all ages. It’s all hands on deck for this treasure quest, as riders count Captain Redbeard’s gems, coins, and golden bricks along the way.
The Ride
What I love about the ride is it fun for the whole family. The ride is an easy boat ride that has a fun theme and surprises around each turn of the river. There are so many fun things like treasures to see, a sunken ship and plus other creatures.
One of my favorite things about this ride is they have handicap-accessible boats. To have to transfer from your ECV to a wheelchair but can ride the boat in your wheelchair. This is a huge game changer for those of us with mobility issues.
Extra Help
For those who need a little extra help here are a few tips to help you. First, be sure to stop by guest relations to pick up your Hero Pass. This will help you with lines or you can purchase a Fastpass to help bypass the lines.
Second, rent yourself an ECV or wheelchair. I personally like the ECV because they come with a shade cover which is perfect for the Florida sun.
Finally, make sure to always ask the ride attendant about what the ride entails. You don’t want to get on a ride that does loops if you can’t handle it. So be sure to ask before entering the line.
One final tip is to be sure to always be kind and courteous to the employees. They are there to help in any way possible but can only help if you explain what you need and be kind in doing it.
Final Thoughts
I have to say Legoland is one of my favorite places to visit. I enjoy just walking around and looking at all the amazing things they have created with Legos. The time and energy they put into creating this park are just unbelievable. I am hoping to one day spend a few days at Legoland exploring their hotel and water park. I hope to see you there soon.
