Central Perk Coffee

Coffee’s the elixir of life for many of us. I had my first cup of coffee at age 16 while visiting with my grandmother. She said I was old enough to join her in a cup of coffee and morning girl talk. It was a wonderful day, a core memory of my grandmother that I have never forgotten. However, at 16 coffee tasted terrible to me. Fast forward a few years later and coffee became everything to me.

Now at 52 and having lived through what I have coffee has become my morning friend. A cup of coffee and quiet time to meditate on all I’m grateful for is how I start my day. I have so much to be grateful for things like my son, my family, and my ability to get out of bed each day. Most important, I am grateful for that first sip of coffee.

I first discovered Central Perk Coffee a few years back. I was sent some as part of a campaign. I was excited to try it as I was a huge fan of the TV show Friends. this show was a huge part of my early days as a wife. It was the first TV show my hubby, and I watched together weekly. We would snuggle on the sofa and eat popcorn and watch to see what sort of trouble this group of friends would get into or what life struggles they would overcome. It was out thing.

I always thought it would be great to have a group of friends like this I could reply on and who I could meet up with to enjoy coffee with. Now 35+ years later I have those friends and now I have coffee too.
