The best time to book a Disney cruise is right now. If you have ever been on a cruise I’m sure this season has been as tough for you as for me. We’re all reeling from the historic pandemic that has swept the globe. Now, after two-months trapped indoors, we’re clawing at the walls. Cruises took a hard hit at the beginning of this emergency before other vacation options followed suit. As the threat of contagion lessens and as our cabin fever rises we are dreaming of our next Disney cruise.
You can start booking your cruise now with Disney Cruise Line and the sooner you do the better. Here are just a few great reasons why now is the time to book a Disney Cruise.
Get Ahead of the Curve
When cruises do become operational again Disney Cruise Line will have a hard time filling their itineraries. There is more opportunity for you than ever before. By booking now for a Disney Cruise Line vacation, you will have access to more cabins and more port adventures. Booking a Disney Cruise makes booking a Walt Disney World vacation look like a piece of cake. Activities are usually limited and you only have so much time to reserve your spot, whether it’s for an excursion or a fancy dinner. Depending on your booking status, you may miss out entirely on certain activities, just because they were already booked before your reservation window opened. Now is the best time to book a Disney cruise because you have a better chance than ever of getting to book the activities you really want without having to pick a second or third option.
Cheap Rates
A great side benefit of being the first back when Disney Cruise Line sets sail again is the cheap promotional rates. What happened onboard some cruises in February was frightening. One person laid a whole ship under siege, causing the novel coronavirus to spread and contaminate a cruise ship while docked in Japan. The danger of a potentially deadly outbreak is not something you put on a vacation brochure. Neither is being confined to your stateroom for weeks on end. That is a nightmare many cruisers endured in late winter and it’s not a very appealing option for future cruisers afraid of another spike in cases. Timid vacationers mean lower prices to get people interested in travel again. You could get the deal of a lifetime which is why it’s the best time to book a Disney cruise.
Cabin Fever
Ironically, while many will still be wary of Cruise Lines in light of recent events the chances are high that cruise ships will be safer than ever. Disney Cruise Line especially is working hard to make their ships as sanitary and as safe as possible. They have established new boarding procedures and are discontinuing self-service at buffets. Disney also committed to regular sanitization practices around high traffic areas and frequent communication with passengers about illness prevention. Disney canceled Bookings until July 27 as directed by the CDC. They’ll only lift the suspension once international travel is once again deemed safe by health authorities.
